You don't need a full band to make a proper record. Some of our favourite sessions this year have been with solo artists.
Rob Prince
Rob Prince has been busy. His single Never Far Behind came out in January, produced and recorded here. In June he released Sunshine, a 90s indie song he first wrote back in 1999, recorded with AJ and with Liam on drums. And in September came his EP I'm ok you're ok: five tracks, 13 minutes, produced by AJ, with Liam drumming again.
Lesley Hart
Lesley Hart recorded her vocals for Can't Stop Now with us in the spring. Vocal sessions are as much about feeling comfortable as they are about microphones, and a bit of guidance goes a long way.
Katherine Eliza
Katherine Eliza recorded a cover of The Verve's The Drugs Don't Work with Liam Hooker adding guitar. She got it in one take.
Session players on hand
The common thread here is that our team can play. If your song needs drums, guitar or bass and you don't have a band, we can help you fill the gaps. Get in touch to talk about your track.
