Nice building, good value rehearsal rooms and a good recording facility, AJ who runs it is a nice guy to work with , full of ideas and knows his stuff. All in all great value for money.

If you are looking to record music..I can't praise this amazing Studio enough!  At Black Cactus and with AJ ( Alan )who is a very experienced sound Engineer and so accommodating too!! it's honestly been a dream experience!! I had been let down by another studio and called asking, he was so kind and fit me into his schedule. When I met him, first impressions never lie, truth be told he was so friendly, humble and his direction was so welcomed as it's literally "made" my song "Bill" which I am going to release soon. I finished recording the whole song in less than 4 hours with harmony!!! I am not great with harmonising but with A.J's help and direction.. it's been done and I absolutely love it. The studio is pretty neat, everything you need in a studio, state of the art equipment, microphones that make your mouth water😁 and a fantastic set up. I am happy to say that I have found 'my Studio'..and am going to be going back again to record more of my songs. Highly recommended.  ❤️

Went to Black Cactus to record and mix my bands first single after being recommended by other musicians who have worked with AJ. Very friendly guy who really knows his stuff with mixing and recording. The studio is really nice with great equipment and we are extremely happy with the final mix. If anyone I knew needed to record a song AJ would be the person I recommend 100%

Had an absolutely fantastic time recording here. AJ is a phenomenal producer who respected and uplifted the vision I had for the tracks, as well as adding to them intuitively, professionally and with a perfect understanding of what they needed. I am so grateful for this experience and can't wait to record there again!

Just spent 3 days recording here. It's a flexible, comfortable recording and rehearsing space with everything we needed. Run by a genuine music lover, who knows the space and how to get a good sound out of it. He also has a real talent for listening, understanding and interpreting ideas, and shaping them into a reality.

Our band booked a recording session for the day and not only was it fun and inspiring but it was efficient and well organised. AJ helped us with the songs direction and also organising parts of the track we had not thought about yet. The studio has great equipment and lots of modern equipment including analogue and digital pieces of equipment. Such a welcoming place and thank you AJ for a good day and helping us record our song!

An excellent, welcoming studio. The rooms aren't huge, but they sound very, very good. Only been using it to rehearse so far, but will be recording here when we have rehearsed enough 🙂

Great studio for rehursal, will 100% be booking again.

I had my first time tracking drums with my band at black cactus and it was such a good experience! Aj and everyone was super friendly, fun and professional and the vibe from the room while I was tracking was super positive! Also the rehearsal rooms are full of amazing equipment, they’re always clean and again professional. I’m so grateful that this place exists and for AJ to make it all possible ! 🙂
